Event bar planner

Plan the bar from the crowd—not from a guess at bottles.

The Top Pour’s Event Bar Planner turns guest count, service time, drinking pace, bar style, planning buffer, and cocktail choices into practical quantities and a working shopping list.

Build the event plan

Start with the information that changes demand.

  1. Name the event and choose the type: private party, wedding, birthday, corporate event, backyard gathering, or another format.
  2. Enter the guest count, event length, and expected drinking pace.
  3. Select the bar style and a sensible planning buffer.
  4. Choose up to four signature cocktails when cocktails are part of the menu.
  5. Build quantities for planned drinks, bottles, beer, wine, ice, garnishes, cups or glasses, napkins, and recipe-based ingredients.
  6. Copy the shopping list or save the plan for later review.
A working estimate

Use the plan as a starting point, then apply bartender judgment.

Crowd behavior, weather, pour size, venue rules, service style, local alcohol laws, product availability, and last-minute guests can all change actual demand.

The planner provides estimates, not guarantees. Verify all quantities and legal/service requirements, and use responsible-service judgment for the specific event.

Plan before service starts running.
